Information:

This view of St. Mary’s Bay is from one hundred and thirty feet up the 185 foot steeple of Église Sainte-Marie Church, the largest wooden church in North America, in the Acadian village of Church Point, Nova Scotia. Completed in 1905, this breathtaking structure is also a registered museum with exhibits of religious artifacts and a gift shop. Université Sainte-Anne is the only French language university in Nova Scotia, welcoming students from all over Canada and the world. The high ratio of professors to students fosters a very personalized learning environment. The university is also home to an award-winning French immersion program, and is an emerging leader in green energy, including two wind turbines. Situated under the red roof on the left side of the campus, the Rendez-vous de la Baie Acadian Cultural and Interpretive Centre is a modern visitor centre. Experience the vibrant Acadian culture of this region by visiting its museum with Acadian exhibits, art gallery, visitor information centre, souvenir boutique, theatre, and internet café.
