The Sandy Point Lighthouse is located close to the mouth of Shelburne Harbour. This is one of Shelburne’s most popular photo opportunities at any time of day however, at low tide, you can walk out to the lighthouse for that prefect selfie. Bring your buckets and collect sand dollars, relax on the sand bar while enjoy some treats from the canteen. This is also a very popular location for weddings, corporate dinners, family reunions and other special events. The Municipality boasts a rich maritime history and the third best natural harbour in the world.
