Our main cat room is a free-range room where cats can stretch their legs, make new friends and feel comfortable while waiting for their new fur-ever home. Cats prefer being able to see all their surroundings - the cat activity wall provides safe spots for cats to hang out, nap and play.
About Bide Awhile Animal Shelter: Bide Awhile has been in the community of HRM for over 50 years and holds a special place in the hearts of many, both human and animal. It’s a place where companion animals can feel safe and cared for while they wait for their permanent home. We’re different than other shelters.
